Damaso Marte suffered a setback in his rehab from shoulder surgery.
Marte was knocked around for six runs over two-thirds of an inning in his first minor league rehab appearance with the GCL Yankees last Thursday. The southpaw was already a longshot to help the Yankees this season, but this pretty much seals it.
Pedro Feliciano (shoulder) suffered a setback in his rehab and is unlikely to return this season.
Feliciano tossed a scoreless inning in his first rehab appearance with the GCL Yankees last Thursday, but he’s apparently still having issues with his shoulder. It wouldn’t be surprising if he finally undergoes surgery.

Questions.
1. If AJ loses this start does he go to the bullpen. If he wins (doubtful) is it a game by game try out?
2. What are the 3 Red sox pitchers that are pitching against the yankees records against the team?
Who else is excited for next year with Posada and Igawa’s contracts coming off the books!!!!
I hope some of that money goes to Resigning Martin. and montero is the back up next year and then gets the rest of the time as DH.

I keep reading that people that know this guy that knows that other guy keep saying AJ BP bound, two are Doug Rush(BR) and King!
I think I commented about just that scenario happing, not that I have been alone in questioning this happening.
Of course this is all speculation, we don’t know for sure. Please let it be so!
I think if he pitches lights out against Boston it won’t happen.
