Morning Bits: Rotation, Montero
Good morning all. The Yankees are looking good, coming off a 3 game sweep of the Blue Jays. A new series begins today versus the Orioles. The Yankees Magic number now to clinch a playoff spot is 23.
Here are your morning links:
— Jeff Bradley of the Star Ledger says the Yankees excess of pitchers is the only hint of drama taking place in the Bronx.
— Dave Sheinin of the Washington Post argues that although the Yankees rotation looks like a mess, it doesn’t mean that it cannot be successful.
— Jesus Montero went 2-3 yesterday. George King writes that Montero’s power hasn’t been present yet, but he is still making adjustments.
Have a great final day of Labor Day weekend everyone. The game starts at 1:05pm.
