Game 156 | Yankees vs. Rays
Starting tonight, the rest of the regular season games don't really matter too much. However, the Yanks would like Colon to get on the right track, after his poor last start. It looks like Colon will factor to be the Yankees' postseason #3 or #4 starter, so they need him to be pitching like he did in the first half.

— Girardi also has said that Sabathia is unlikely to start again in the regular season.
— Jack Curry says that Manny Banuelos, David Phelps, and Adam Warren will join the team tomorrow, but they will not be activated.

Good question Ken i had the same question.
Ricky by what Girardi is sending out there today for his lineup it looks like he is giving alot of players rest. Do you think that is wise or do you think he should be putting the pedal to the metal until they clinch Home field throughout first two series.
Tell us about some of the new guys in Boston with all their injuries lately there are some fresh new faces during this matchup.
UGH! This is not the performance Colon is supposed to give the Yankees leading up to the playoffs.
Bartolo Colon is pitching himself out of the rotation and is actually helping Burnett maybe be the Game 4 starter down the line which is scary if hughes is not healthy
If Hughes doesn’t start it looks like Noesi will get another start before the season is over.
Well at least B’more is beating the Tigers.

But, he can hit,.. in big spots, he has experience, he has savvy, and at the moment, he is a member of a team, that his teammates love. It may be a mistake by some, to bum rush him out the door.
