I hope Boston loses as it looks like the Yankees have this game locked up.
Hey Matt, how are you. That day is getting closer!,,,,Phil Hughes:..I’ve ALWAYS liked him better as a reliever vs starter. Remember a couple of years back?…he was wonderful. I know it’s a stretch, but with his stuff….close to a Jonathan Papelbon…eh, maybe. Stop by, say hello. Take care.
Hey Patrick. I think Hughes like others who mentioned here might get traded in the off season. I think his time might be limited with the Yankees.
Matt….yes, I’ve heard rumblings to that effect, about Phil Hughes. Sorry, but I think he is a bullpen-star, waiting to happen. Take care.
Matt….what do you think of that 3 hundred year logo, of mine? Yes, that is a shamrock in his hand!………………….I tried changing it…but, that one (the logo) is perfect.
no need to change. it’s a keeper.
Damn Proctor has to pick now to pitch like Cy Young….working his slider, change up & FB.
Just give up a run already so they’ll have to play tomorrow !!!!!
Betances was still a little nervous and showed the command problems hes battled all year.
But he also showed the stuff that will make him a MLB pitcher and struck out 2 lefties on nice breaking balls.
- FB that sits at 93-94 and hits 96
- Nice Breaking ball he changed speeds on
- Saw one great Change Up to fool Johnny Damon
