I don’t mind seeing one of the two Garcia and Colon coming back. Do we need both?
Noesi is doing winter ball this year to be stretched out for the season and from what i have read Cashman really likes his stuff.
On the other hand you can never have enough pitchers just look at the 2011 Red Sox.
I’ll take Garcia back if the price is right but he won’t be cheap again. Last yr he had a $1.5M base and earned another $2.5-$3M in incentives so he’s gonna be in line to get at least $5-6M guaranteed this yr.
I REALLY think Cashman has a big move or 2 in him this Winter. He’s been looking for a #2 starter for 3 years now and things only got more dire when Andy retired and AJ went to shit. He knows he was lucky in 2011 to be successful with the rotation he had and won’t put himself in that position again.

It was all luck really last year. who knew that Garcia and Colon could pull that offf and can you really expect them both to do it again this year? prob not.
