While Posada certainly played inspirational baseball I just can’t vote for any player for any award when that player only plays one way in Posada’s case as a DH. It’s just the way I think. So I voted for Gardner.
I voted for Jeter because how many hits he had that day for his 3,000. That was a good day to watch a game.
As much as i loved Posada early on it started to fade. He obviously had a problem with Girardi being the manager and when he moved him down in the line up he handled it so poorly.
I wish him luck if another team signs him though.
I voted for Gardner in the 1st question above and Robertson in the 2nd question. I just think Robertson was the consummate professional last season.
