Pregame Notes
– Nick Swisher is not in the starting lineup. He is still resting a sore calf.
– If you haven’t already, Individual tickets for the Yankees are on sale now to the general public. Go to Yankees.com or call Ticketmaster for tickets.
– The Yankees released Preston Mattingly (Don Mattingly’s son) along with Reegie Corona & Grant Duff.
– The Yankees home opener pitcher will most likely be Hiroki Kuroda.
Girardi said Kuroda will start the second game of the season, meaning he’s lined up to start the home opener against the Angels

– Girardi wouldn’t commit to an exact date of Andy Pettitte pitching in a game, but he would like to set the game vs. the Mets at GMS Field as a target date.
Girardi didn’t commit to a date for a game for Pettitte, but next Wednesday vs. the Mets at GMS Field sounds like the target.
