Morning Bits: Pettitte, Granderson, 0-3

In case you haven’t heard the Yankees are 0-3 and before you jump off the nearest bridge I’m not to concerned just yet. Yankees begin a new series against the O’s tonight at 7pm.  I hope you all had a nice long weekend let’s start the week of right with some morning links….

Bryan Hoch of mlb.com reports that Monday is Pettitte’s biggest test when he makes his first start for the Tampa Yankees.

Hoch also notes that Granderson is not concerned about his sore calf.

– From The Times-Tribune “SWB Yankees at no loss for offense”

– Three is not a magic number for the Yankees.

Silent Yanks leave Tampa empty-handed.

D.J. Mitchell, Triple-A Yanks toss one-hitter.

Bryan Mitchell and River Dogs spin a two-hitter.

  1. Guys, just FYI. Justin Maxwell was claimed off waivers by the Astros. The next time you update your 40 man roster you might take him off.
