Morning Bits: Kuroda, Nunez in the OF, Fenway Park, Hughes
Good morning all. Tough loss last night. The Yankees are back at it again tonight. With one hit tonight Jeter will tie Dave Winfield on the all time career hit list.
Let’s move on to the links….
– The New York Times writes: Kuroda loses command and Yankees lose Gardner.
– The Daily News writes what I have been asking since the off season now with the Gardner injury Nunez will see some outfield action.
– The Boston Globe has an article about the Yankees thoughts on Fenway Park.
– The Star Ledger writes Phil Hughes is searching for answers before his start.

This injury of gardner might be something that could turn out positive in the long run with Nunez gettting a chance to play outfield the Yankees upper brass can see what he can do and way that in to the future plans of the team.
I’m hoping that when Gardner comes back, he’ll be unstoppable. Kind of like Jeter when he injured both his calves.
On Boomer and carton just heard the Sterling call on Tex’s last out. IT IS HIGH IT IS FAR IT IS FOUL. 5 seconds of dead air than OH WAIT IT IS CAUGHT GAME OVER. What an absolute joke this guy is. This is the Yankees and him and Waldman are embarrassing to the organization. Between his at least 3 missed calls per game and Waldman offering nothing other than tears live on air during ceremonies when will it be enough? I don’t really care because I only listen to the radio in the car and when I do I listen to the opposing teams broadcast on Sirius because they are so bad. Yankees fans deserve better than this garbage.
agreed they both are horrible. Last year was the last year of the contract for CBS radio to cover the Yankees and they extended for one more year. (this year). If someone else takes over say ESPN Radio i doubt they will be bringing them both along.
I guess I’m the only one that still likes John & Suzyn but then again, I guess I like them because my dad used to listen to them all the time…before YES came along.
