  1. Game 1 Lineup:
    Derek Jeter SS
    Nick Swisher RF
    Robinson Cano 2B
    Alex Rodriguez 3B
    Mark Teixeira 1B
    Curtis Granderson CF
    Andruw Jones LF
    Eduardo Nunez DH
    Chris Stewart C

This looks crazy at first, but after taking a second it’s not silly at all. Stewart over Martin is fine, so it came down to Ibanez vs. Nunez.

    • With Gardner out, I would be playing Nunez every single day.

Nunez can play LF or continue to play him at SS/3B/DH but he should be the beneficiary of all of Gardner’s ABs while he is on the DL.

      • I agree. Now’s the perfect time to see what this kid really can do, and more importantly whether he can play the OF. I mean, better now early in the season with the team in 1st place, then later in the year when the team could be forced to do it without knowing.
