Brett Gardner is going to hit in the cage today. Doctor told him to test the elbow and see how it feels. #Yankees

Yankees now not sure if Pettitte will start Monday in Portland. They may not want him in cold conditions

Gardner took swings for first time today, 10 dry swings, 15 off tee. Didn’t feel any pain. Thinks could be ready for BP by Monday

Enjoy the game everyone!

The great Girardi strikes again by putting Freddie Suck out there again the to be bombed! Way to go Joe you schmuck!
Freddie Suck and Hughesless what a rotation!
Garcia needs to go!! I have been way to patient with him but today was the final straw!
You’re right Delia. That’s when you know he’s done….when Delia has had enough!
I doubt he’d go to AAA so put him in the bullpen so he can come in after Hughes goes his standard 3-4 innings.
Hopefully Phelps pitches well today so he can start over Garcia.
You would still need a couple or more relievers for Hughesless followed by Freddie Suck! But by the time those 2 are done the Yankees would be down 20 runs so you could finish up with Swisher!
I’m also pretty sure that the other 29 teams have been watching him which might make trading him harder. No one wants a pitcher that has to get lifted in the 2nd inning for the last couple of starts.
I wouldn’t have minded giving Garcia one more start but I def thought he should have been skipped this time around with the double off days of Monday & Thursday. there was no need for him to pitch in this series.
Well at least Campos is pitching for Charleston today so that should be fun to follow.
Glad I went to the NFL Draft today instead of watching this game.
