Chavez to DL; Yanks call up Nix
The Yankees had made a roster change and for the Yanks, it’s not good. The Yankees have placed Eric Chavez on the 15 day DL after suffering a concussion in last night’s game. The Yankees refused to send down a pitcher, instead they brought up young Jayson Nix to be another bat on the bench. In Scranton, Nix is batting .233 with 0 HR’s & 4 RBI’s.
