Good to see Gardner get a couple of knocks and another solid outing for Banuelos.
This guy Mustelier is someone to watch. He’s a Cuban defector they signed last year who has been hitting at every level and plays a lot of positions. He plays 2b, 3B, LF & RF so could help the team out as a versatile player on the bench.
He hit well in Tampa last yr and was raking in AA Trenton this yr at .353/.412/.598 before he was promoted to AAA last wk. He HR’d today and could be in the Bronx the next time someone gets hurt.
Lot of exciting guys to follow. The farm is growing.
Mustelier can replace both Chavez and Jones right now!
Gardner has 2 base hits yesterday? Who needs another game? Bring him back now!
