Ronnier Mustelier
Correct!!!!!
Bpark what’s your thoughts on Mustelier’s numbers so far?
At the end of the day the guy hits 350 where ever he plays.I would welcome a new face on this boreing, complacent, unintresting team.
Pierce should get a crack also.He is putting up big #’s .
I can’t wait till the promotions in the minors start happening to see how the guys do at the next levels.
If tex keeps up with his .220 BA and .290 OBP while coughing up a lung in the dugout they should put him on the DL for 2 weeks and let Pearce play. pearce might be a 4A player but let’s give him a chance and see for ourselves.
For anyone who doesn’t know steve Pearce, he’s a 29-yr old, 1B who’s played in the Majors with Pittsburgh and was signed at the end of Spring training by the Yanks. he’s mashing in AAA with a .329/.418/.576/.994 line and 9 HRs. He’s also played a little in LF/RF.
Our buddy Tyler Austin keeps raking in Charleston and whtta ya know…he also hits with RISP and in clutch situations…..
tonight he drove in the tying run with 2 out-hit in the 9th to send it to extra innings. then he won the game in the 13th with a walk-off RBI single. he went 4 for 7 in the game to raise his season #s to .299/.361/.649/1.010 with 31 XBH in 44 games – 13 HRs, 14 Doubles, 4 Triples and 10 SBs.
time to promote Austin, Sanchez and Mason Williams.
Austin def needs a promotion. Ronnier needs a promotion too… the hell with Jayson Nix
