Morning Bits: Teixeira, Robertson, Maine, Martin
Good morning everyone and a Happy Saturday to you. Yankees play at
4:05pm today (it’s 1:05pm on the West Coast) and CC Sabathia will take the mound in hopes of having a great outing (he lost the last 2 in a row). Let’s get to the morning links, shall we?
– Mark Texieira seems to be feeling a little better. He hit a 2 run homer and he tried to stretch a double into a triple. The best part? He didn’t cough.
– Looks like David Robertson won’t go ‘Tiger’ hunting after all. Joe Girardi said that it’s impossible that D-Rob will be with the team during the Yankees & Tigers series.
– You guys remember John Maine, 15 time winner for the Mets in 2007 right? Well, he’s a Yankee now. Yankees signed him to add pitching depth since Manny Banuelos is on the DL.
– We all know Russell Martin’s bat has been ice cold for the past couple of weeks, waiting for it to thaw out. But Joe Girardi says that they are sticking by Martin no matter what.

That is just great, Joe G is sticking by the guy hitting in the .170′s no matter what, even though last year he humiliated his old nemesis Posada. This guy is stubborn and never learns anything from his mistakes. He hasn’t progressed one damn bit since he was hired in 2008.
He’s a turd so what do you expect?

I’m around Ken. Won’t be fully away from checking in on the site till next week. Don’t rush me yet still plenty more to do till that day though. Been up since 5:30 and been going none stop.
Yup, just as I said the good ole’ “Honey Do list”, you aren’t around HERE! You are going to be so busy you won’t know which way is up! Just take it easy, you have all the guys and lady to help so try the impossible…relax!

You and I both, I get up between 0330 and 0400 every day but, don’t reply very much because…no one else is up yet or…if lucky, they are going to work!
If that’s when you have the most on your mind about the team feel free to reply then. Other will reply back when they get up or visit the site. No time limit on when or when not to comment on the site.
