Morning Bits: Martin, Loaded Bases
Good morning everyone. The Yankees avoided the sweep last night and moved within 1 1/2 games of first place in the AL East. The Yankees are off today as they travel to Detroit for a three game set with the Tigers that begins Friday night. Here are your morning links…

anyone see this article from RAB? http://riveraveblues.com/2012/05/yankees-pursuing-taiwanese-shortstop-tzu-wei-lin-69413/
If you guys have questions about the Tigers for this weekend, I am recording with a Tigers’ insider tonight
Laz Diaz was f@#$ing terrible last night and to hear what Martin says is a damn joke. Umpires have waaaay too much ego and think people are there to watch them. he was squeezing Nova all game long to the point I remember Martin actually turning around and talking to Diaz a couple times. That obviously pissed Mr. Diaz off. Would be nice if Girardi got his ass out there to defend his Catcher & Pitcher. If anyone has his strike zone chart from last night, I’d be curious to see it. I’ll check when I get home.
Interesting enough, Nova and Hughes have twice as many wins 10 as Rays Hellickson and Moore 5, as badly as they have pitched.
