Oldindian33hater:
Look in Mike D. ‘s article under Cleveland Offense Who’s Hot! Watch out! HOF
Twasp it’s going to be sad to watch Damon in a different uniform each year trying to get to 3,000 hits.
Yeah, it’s desperate . Even with 3,000 hits. I’m not sure he deserves the HOF?
What is so great about 3,000 hits? How many have 3000 hits now…25-35 players? If that many players have that many hits, why is it such a big deal? Being a lead-off hitter cuts down the time it takes to get to 3,000 hits otherwise it takes about 20 years to get there. Hell, even A-Rod and Cano will have 3,000 hits before they are done.
It’s nothing to do with hating a player, it has to do with the integrity of the HoF. The same as you saying; A-Rod shouldn’t be in the HoF. It is your opinion and mine is mine, not hate.
TWASP thinks Arod should definitely be in HOF he’s one of the best players of all time. And right up there with Mays and Mantle as the best 5 tool players.
I agree A-Rod should def make and mostly will make the Hall.
What is great about 3000 hits is that with all the thousand and thousands that have played the game only 25- 35 have done it. HOF rewards longevity and production. Though the fact that Damon only made the All Star team twice leads one too believe that he was not a dominant player of his era and longevity alone should not get him into the HOF.
