Morning Bits: Martin, Teixeira, Midseason Report Cards
Good morning everyone and Happy Saturday to you all. Yankees play a day game today! First pitch at 1:05 and Freddy Garcia is on the mound. Here’s today’s morning links. 
– Russell Martin plans to turn the page on the second half of the season after an abysmal first half. Well, he did a great job last night trying to turn the page.
– Mark Teixeira says that there are “no excuses” after the All-Star break. Looks like it’s time for the Yankees to be in it to win it.
– During the All-Star break, everyone graded the New York Yankees. Now it’s the Daily News’s turn to see who was at the top of their class halfway through the season.
