  1. looks like Cliff Lee might be on the trading block since they locked up Cole.

  2. How about old man Jeter!!!

  3. Nix comes up with a big hit!

  4. Good win!!!!! Soriano is doing his thing.

  5. Awesome win today!!!! But i have noticed something. Anybody else notice that when Swisher is out this lineup struggles? Pretty sure the struggled the last time he missed a week earlier this season if I remember correctly. Coincidence? Or?

    • Matt our lineup is tragically light down below, will be worse without Arod.
Its not that the Ichiro trade wasn’t a good one, because it was, but it wasn’t what we needed. Ibanez and Jones are done, will just get worse. We need a stick and now we won’t get one because we made the Ichiro move before Arod got hurt.

    • Long Road Trip, Coming out of the All Star break some other things you can add can lead to the bad streak.

  6. Yeah Matt but the last time he missed a week earlier this year I believe they struggled as well. I don’t know it its a coincidence or not but it’s interesting. Mike i agree it was unfortunate timing. If Arod goes down before Ichiro get traded he probably goes out and gets somebody better. Really bad timing also because ARod, Tex, and Cano were finally all hot at the same time.
