Morning Bits: A-Rod Injury & Mariano not coming back this year
What a bad day for the Yankees last night. They lost both the game and A-Rod got injured and could be out 6 to 8 weeks. Fishjam had a good article about it last night at what the Yankees plans could be now. Scan down the page to read that. Today’s start is 3:40PM EST. On the mound for the Yankees is Nova and for the Mariners is Iwakuma.

TWASP BLOCKBUSTER
Mariano will not be back next year!
Based on the strong performance of the bullpen (especially Soriano) and Joba’s rejuvenated fastball returning, CashMan has decided to not pursue a deal with Mo. They are ironing out how they will handle the PR. We will soon be hearing Mo making comments that he is “considering retirement”.
ugh not Pena.
Sherman tweeted that they wanted him for OF versatility with Swish out. Laird is hot in triple A and Nunez is rehabbing so I think we will see one of them shortly
hopefully soon. Can’t take to much of Pena.
Amazing all the freak accidents this team has had. A-Rod and Andy getting hit by balls, Joba on the trampoline, and Mo in the outfield.
