Looking forward to see Phelps get another shot. Stinks though that he will be on some sort of pitch count.
I LIKE TONIGHTS LINEUP, ICHIRO IS HOT, AS IS JETER,.. ITS A HOME GAME,…,… I LIKE THIS LINEUP,…. GAME 2 AND 4 THGIS WEEK ARE AGHAINST LEFTEYS,…. IF THE YANKEES CAN GAME 1,.. THEN CAN SEND THE RANGERS AWAY WITH THIER TAIL BETWEEN THEIR LEGS

The only thing I want to see which I know it won’t is two leagues no divisions. Like the old way it used to be.
What is your plan Matt? How many inter league games? 8 or 22 would be needed if you want each team to play each other team in their league an equal number of games.

I would leave divisions they same at 14 and 16. Or just add two more teams to the AL to make it 16 to 16.
I would have no inter league games.
Matt if you keep the 3 five team divisions you could have each team play 1 inter league series a month. Then you could play every team in you league 10 times. This leaves 4 games left which could be used as the division tie breaker games rotating home an away every other year.
Now those extra 4 games could be used as natural rivalry games…Muts against us etc as well…
yeah you could do that. But I have no interest in inter-league.

Matt, this game reminded me of what La Russa said about starting a reliever and finishing with a starter, seemed to work with Phelps and Lowe.
