  1. Big game tonight…….need to see if C.C. is healthy. Cleveland is playing terribly and have a AAA pitcher throwing.

Cleveland says they will look to trade Shin-Soo Choo this Winter. He’ll be a FA in 2014 and will be relatively inexpensive in 2013 (maybe $8m in arbitration?) I like that he’s a complete player who is above average in all 5 tools. Wonder what it would take to get him from Cleveland?

  2. Choo isncertainly an upgrade over Swisher. In YS he’ll hit 25 hrs for thevseason and get 90rbis. And the advantage over Swisher is he can get a .380 obp and steal 20 bases too. And bonus is he much better defensively.

  3. Who is pitching for Cleveland……Ken OR?

  4. Who is CC going to hit for payback?

  5. Ok so how stupid can the Dodgers be? Taking on 261 million for 2 crappy players and an above average one? Huge move for the Red Sox that really pisses me off. Yankees should call the Dodgers to see if they will take on Arod? Might as well at this point.

    • Absolute steal for the Red Sox. Not only do they get to erase 3 massive mistakes that would be albatrosses for the next 5 years, the Dodgers also gave them a couple of solid young arms back.

I haven’t seen how much $$ Boston is sending LA but this instantly gives Boston a chance to rebuild. Boston dumps their 3 largest salaries for next season totaling $59 Million. Even if they cover half their salaries next season, that’s still a $29.5 Million savings for next yr. All this savings will allow them to re-sign Ortiz & Ellsbury and to revamp their pitching staff.

You are right….the Yanks missed their chance to dump ARod!

  6. Fish the Dodgers are paying 95% of the salaries. Its unreal.

  7. Matt B…..where was CashMan ? Hiding from his lunatic mistress?

The Dodgers would rather have gotten Arod and Hughes!
