Morning Bits: RISP, O’s Series, Dave Miley, Pettitte
So many chances yesterday with 0 outs and a runner at second and the Yankees couldn’t do the job. Ugh! Well today is an off day. Check back with us often for any updates. Even though the Yankees aren’t playing today we have a lot to care about as both the O’s and Rays are playing. Yankees start a series with the O’s tomorrow.
Enjoy the day now for some links…
– Wallace Matthews of ESPN NY has an article about how dreadful the Yankees are with RISP. Yesterday they went 3-17!!! Pathetic.
– Cash Kruth of MLB.com has the preview of the O’s vs Yankees series starting tomorrow.
– SWB (AAA) Yankees manager Dave Miley was named top manager in the international league. As he should for having to deal with a team on the road all season. SWB has clinched the playoffs so should be an exciting time for team.
– Yankees Insider from The Daily News says time is running out for Andy Pettitte.
