Morning Bits: Cano, Martin & more…
Good morning all. This is getting very exciting as the Yankees are now 1 game back of Texas and yet Baltimore is still right on the Yankees heels.

– Wallace Matthews has an article up about Russel Martin who a month or so ago many people wanted off the team next year.
– Matthews also wrote that Cano was taken to the hospital last night for X-Rays after being hit on his hand. Results come out this morning. Keep your fingers crossed.

Speaking of Cano, his X-Ray results came back this morning. Everything is fine in his hand and although there’s not a lineup yet, he’s in it batting cleanup and playing 2B.
