Morning Bits: Who should be in CF? & A-Rod
Good Morning all. Today is a big day for our blog as our second annual TOP 40 Yankee Prospect Rankings will be out today at 11am. We all hope you enjoy the rankings and share your comments on who you think should be higher or lower.
Now let’s get to some links…
– Bryan Hoch of mlb.com writes that the Yankees are weighing options on who should be in center field this year.
– The Daily News has “sources” that say A-Rod thinks that the Yankees and MLB are out to get him after the recent PED scandal.

Brett needs to be the centerfielder. Granderson will be gone after the season so Brett will have it after that anyway so why not let him start now patrolling that area.
I agree. Besides, Gardner came up as a centerfielder and in an interview last season, he said although he makes it look really easy in left field, he says it’s the hardest thing he’s ever done. I say give Gardner the position that makes him comfortable. If he’s an asset in LF, then there’s no telling what he’ll do in CF.
completely agree Delia.
Amen!
Unless granderson blatantly costs us some runs a few times don’t look for any changes in CF.
