Did anyone see today’s game? Looks like Ramirez and Warren were awful. Young pitchers can be very inconsistent and after attacking with strikes all Spring, today Ramirez threw just 3 strikes to the 7 batters he faced, walking 4. Hopefully he isn’t hurt.
Yeah, I heard the game on the radio yesterday. By the time it was the third inning, I was sure I was going to crawl into a hole and hide there.
Sounds like he had a blister forming during his last start; they were out checking him out right before he came out of the game. A couple years ago we had some other guys miss time due to blisters and they attributed it to the difference in baseballs; the laces being the culprit.
jimmy, I saw his last start, and your right on the mark he had a blister. As an ex pitcher I know this can be a problem. I would handle this kid with kit gloves he has alot of upside.
It looks at this point that Rivera makes the team as firstbasmen or left fielder. Who else is going to make the team? Do the Yanks change their mind and put Nuny at third sometimes along with Nix, and move Youk to first? Of the players left Musty,Diaz,Melky Pirela, or someone else?,
Priela hits his second triple of the day, can’t hurt his chances.
